Research Methods

Who we are

We are a group of around 20 – 25 members who are interested in all aspects of Research Methods.  The core group represents many sub disciplines and topics across the Research Methods teaching community and help gather views and share best practice across different practices.

What it is

It is a community of staff who teach Research Methods at PGT level.  We get together three times a year to discuss current practice, share teaching methods that have worked (or not!) and try to bring the Research Methods teaching community together.  We also try to bring in teaching practices from outside the University through.

How you can get involved

You can become a member of the core group or just get in touch with any of these who are local to share any examples of good practice in research methods teaching.

We would love to hear from you please contact Stephanie Beck or for more information.

Events and meetings

The core group meets three times a year in January, May and September.

However we have special events on key topics that all members can attend or join via a webinar. More details will be posted on the Events page.
